Youth of the Year is the premier youth leadership recognition program designed to foster a new generation of leaders, fully prepared to live, serve and make an impact in their communities and on the world. The finalist selected today will have the opportunity to represent our community at the state and regional levels in competition for the title of National Youth of the Year.

Embodying the values of leadership and service; academic excellence; and healthy lifestyles, the young people here today exemplify the critical impact that Boys & Girls Clubs have on young people in our community.

Each of these exceptional young people is competing for an opportunity to win Scholarships, Prizes, and the People's Choice Award.

The club member chosen for this honor could become the role model, leader, and advocate for the nearly 4 million youth served by Boys & Girls Clubs each year, and all of America’s young people.
